We made a 500 mile trip to your city to decide whether it was for us or not. We LOVE it and will be moving very soon. I would appreciate ANY information anyone could give me that would be helpful to us in making a decision where to live.
We have 3 children school age. I don't know anyone in the area to ask what places are the most desirable. I would appreciate an honest opinion. Thanks. Donna in N. Nevada

Hi Donna,
My name is Lisa and my husband was transferred to San Diego. We are originally from Ohio. We lived in San Diego for one year and started hearing so many wonderful things about Temecula. I contacted the Temecula Chamber of Commerce and they sent me a wonderful package of information regarding real estate, schools, shopping, weather, etc. Call them and tell them you wish a Relocation package. It's great.
We have a small town look and feel and the folks here are great!
Redhawk/Vail Ranch area is great. All the schools here are great -- crime is low. Paloma del Sol is good, too. If you are dealing with a realtor and she suggests a certain area, let me know and I'll give you my honest opinion.
I have lived here for 6 years. I also can suggest good dentist, hair salon, manicure, massage therapist (licensed) and I would love to give you a "welcome" basket. I have my own business here, gift baskets!
Many people here live here and work somewhere else (Riverside, San Diego, Los Angeles) and they commute!
And there are lots of people like me who work at home and we are on the computer -- I have another business that I do where I can work around my family schedule and still earn an income. I'd be happy to talk to you about this when you arrive and get settled.
I imagine you'll be going through some big changes to go from the Midwest to CALIFORNIA. One of the things I love is that everyone here is free to be who they are and that's great.
Welcome! And, hope I have been of some assistance. Feel free to email me anytime.
