We recently visited the Temecula and toured the model home. We are quite impressed with the shopping, the retails and the recreation that the city offered, but have a concern with the school quality (Temecula H.S Valley), can anyone advised us about this? We are curently lived in Aliso Viejo and the kids are attending the California Blue ribbon school.

Antelope Valley administrator to head Temecula high school

TEMECULA - Scott Schaufele, an administrator from the Antelope Valley Union High School District, has been tapped to become the new principal of Temecula Valley High School.

Temecula Valley Unified School District officials are expected to appoint Schaufele at a meeting Tuesday. Schaufele would succeed the retired Linnea Hedlund, who was principal of the 3,300-student campus since 1998. Hedlund officially stepped down last month after working in the district 32 years.

For the past four years, Schaufele has been assistant principal at Littlerock High School. Before that, he was assistant principal at Phoenix High School in Lancaster.

He has also worked at the Los Angeles County Office of Education, where he began and directed a school for violent juvenile offenders. As new principal, Schaufele would begin in earnest when school starts Aug. 26.

I have grown children and I do teach at a private university. Sorry, I can not give you any information.

My son taught as substitute teacher occasionally when he is not playing baseball (semi-pro).
(He is now away playing baseball)
